Committed to Excellence. We Will Exceed Your Expectations.

Outsourcing is serious business

Six Good Reasons to use Lenape

Lenape has looked at the history and experience of outsourcing for several years now.  Historically, companies have been outsourcing their IT work to countries like India and several Asian nations.  At first glance, the savings appear to be substantial.  Hourly rates are low and there has been a ready source of available workers.  However, the experience of outsourcing to these countries has been deeply disappointing.

The hourly rates for workers in these nations have been climbing.  As more companies have entered the marketplace, competition has set in.  What once translated as 10 jobs overseas for each 1 job sent from here is now down to 4 jobs overseas for each 1 job sent from the US.  Cost savings have been declining.  Additional problems have surfaced with travel time and time zones.

Additionally, and of greater concern, is the quality of the work received by the US company.  The work done in India and in Asia is not of the finest quality.  This aspect of outsourcing has been the greatest concern to Lenape Associates, Inc.  We have built our company based upon our well preserved reputation as a supplier of expertise of the highest possible quality.  Thus, we have chosen not to enter into outsourcing until now.

We are now prepared to supply work overseas not as “outsourcing”, but as the next generation of these services:  “Rightsourcing.”  We define “Rightsourcing” as ‘working together with our customers to design, build, install and run computer solutions, crafted to their individual needs that creates financial savings but does not sacrifice quality.’  The result to you is better business.

Lenape has chosen Moldova as our “Rightsourcing” source for overseas workers.  Why?

1.         Moldova is at the cross-roads of Latin and Slavic cultures.  It is a small country, just 4.4 million people.  It has a literary rate unparalleled in the area, 99.1%.  Most Moldovan people speak Russian and a high percentage speak English.

2.       What has impressed our company most and what we believe will benefit our customers most is that the Moldovan educational system is based upon the Russian/Western (US) system.  Despite being a small country, it has 67 Colleges.  It teaches using a model of theory and philosophy that mirrors the US educational system.  By contrast, the Indian education system is built on a different model, with much greater focus on detailed practical application to an existing plan.   For simple, uncomplicated tasks this model has proven to be sufficient.  But for complex applications such as those required by Pharma companies in particular, it has been a frustration and a significant cost.

3.       The movement of work to Moldova has begun.  Deutsche Bank, for instance, has recently chosen Moldova to produce their latest generation of CRM software.  However, the competition for expert workers is at the beginning of the curve.

4.       Lenape has a special and particular ability to Rightsource to Moldova.  Our US Project Leader is Moldovan born.  He speaks the language.  He was educated in IT at Moldova University.  He has a substantial presence in the country both personally, in the IT and the educational field.  Our customers can therefore be assured of having their work done by proven experts in the languages and systems required to make the project successful.  We are building long-term relationships with our workforce rather than seeking one-time workers.  Our workers in Moldova are our “Lenape/Moldova Associates” and are encouraged to support our corporate and customers goals.

5.       Moldova has a stable banking and financial climate.  It is a member of the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the World Trade Organization (WTO), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe OSCE and the Council of Europe.  It is committed to fight terrorism within the international framework and has acceded to the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.  The Moldovan interests are clearly closely associated with US interests in business and government.

6.       As one of the poorer nations in the area, having neither a port, nor substantial resources such as oil, gas or minerals, it is working hard to use its’ excellent education expertise as a financial resource.  This aspect of the Moldovan goals presents an ideal opportunity for Lenape Associates, Inc. to provide the highest possible quality expertise to our customers at affordable prices thereby satisfying both our corporate and customer goals.

By moving to “Rightsourcing,” rather than “outsourcing,” our company can supply our customers with products and services that live up to our corporate motto:

"Committed to Excellence, We Will Exceed Your Expectations"
